Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hotpot?

Hotpot is a Chinese social dining experience. It involves cooking your food yourself using inductions plates at the table. Select your broths and a range of ingredients; these will be brought out to you. Cooking only takes a few minutes.

For more details, check  Our Menu page.

Dietary Requirements

Our tables include 4 smaller induction plates to allow for an individual broth if you have personal requirements.

We have vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options. For allergies, please inform our staff before ordering. This will allow us to clean any areas of the kitchen that require.

Halal meat options are sourced from a local halal butcher. We then store and cut it separately from our non-halal meat.  We do, however, still sell pork options and alcohol on the premises.

Please Contact Us for more clarification.

Large Bookings

Our restaurant can seat 48 people in total. For large parties, we have a long central table that can sit 16 people. There is also a side area of 3 tables spaced slightly apart - this can seat 12.

Our online booking system only accepts bookings of 9 people or fewer. Any larger parties will need to Contact Us directly to book a table.

When booking please include the date, time, email, phone number and the number of people you are booking for. Any dietary requirements are also extremely helpful.

Accessibility

Here at Hotpot Spot, we aim to make Chinese cuisine as accessible as possible.

Unfortunately, we are located upstairs in the Globe Centre complex,  which has no lift access. For those able to make it, we can help carry manual wheelchairs, walking aids, or pushchairs up the stairs with space at the door of the restaurant for storage.

We hope to be able to meet any requirements that you need. Please contact us with any questions or requests.
